Manageability - HPC

Position: SMTS

Experience: 12 16 years

Job Description:

AMD is looking for an experienced senior individual to take-up the role of a manageability domain software designer and lead developer. This person will be part of the Manageability Team and will be responsible to build next generation manageability solutions on AMD platforms in the HPC and Data Center areas and take it to the markets.

Responsibilities:

  • He should gather requirements at a feature level from relevant stakeholders.
  • He should understand what interfaces the platforms firmware components exposes and be able to provide the Overall design architecture for a specific manageability feature.
  • He should implement high performance software by leveraging what the platform exposes.
  • He should work with developers, architects, partners, stakeholders, and customers to develop, implement and release manageability software products.
  • He should be able to lead a small set of developers guiding them to accomplish the product deliverable.
  • He should write technical product documents for Architecture & User Guide.
  • He should review team members code and review unit/product test plan

Skills:

  • Good understanding of x86 processor architecture.
  • Expertise in C language development including the tools used to edit, compile/assemble and debug code.
  • Experience in Developing and releasing SDK s to the Linux open source community.
  • Experience working with various communication and networking protocols
  • Should be well versed with using source control tools viz. GIT/Perforce/SVN
  • Understanding of system hardware components and software
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to contribute to multiple concurrent projects
  • Setup development & test environment
  • Proven technical leadership demonstration is a must
  • Exposure to HPC and Data Center related systems management, specifically power management.
  • Subject Matter Expertise is highly recommended in following areas
    • Out-of-band and side-band systems and host bus adapter management using various system internal and external protocols, data models and interfaces including SMBIOS, ACPI, PLDM, MCTP, WS-Management/SOAP, WBEM, WMI, CIM, DASH, NC-SI and ASF
    • NVRAM (SPI-Flash) management, data security, and secure/resilient firmware update
    • Interfaces: PCI, PCIe, USB, UART, SMBus, I2C, MII, SPI, LPC bus

Education and Experience:

  • MS/M Tech/BE in Computer Engineering/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Should have total experience of 12 16 years, with at least 10+ years of relevant experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
