India Employee Relations (ER) and Site HR Operations Manager:

  • This position provides Employee Relations (ER) and site HR Operations expertise for India
  • Ensure legal compliance and proactive employee relations
  • Leads Site HR Ops to improve employee experience, HR processes and efficiency
  • Position reports into APJ ER and Site HR Ops Region Manager
  • Manages a staff of 2 employees

Key responsibilities:

Employee Relations

  • Act as objective and trusted advisor for both employees and management
  • Handle and respond to HR policy or practice questions and issues. Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
  • Interpret and apply company policy and procedures, as well as any national or local regulations. Provide guidance to managers in cases involving performance counseling, attendance or other policy violations, including disciplinary recommendations and associated documentation.
  • Conduct and/or support investigations regarding allegations of unfair management practices, ethical concerns, harassment, discrimination and other issues. Partner with legal counsel as needed.
  • Analyze data to identify ER trends to predict and prevent issues. Proactively provide formal and informal training on ER and compliance matters, including performance and harassment.

Site HR operations

  • Lead team to improve employee experience in HR areas such as onboarding, offboarding, and HR and benefits policy administration.
  • Ensure local legal compliance in areas such as contract and personnel file management.
  • Identify and close gaps in process, policies and practices.
  • Drive our global HR service delivery model at local level; ensure service and process excellence
  • Collaborate and promote knowledge sharing with peers on Employee Relations and HR operations
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement; be bold in driving change

People Management: Provides leadership to India site HR Operations

  • Build and maintain a high performing team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building, performance management and resource planning. Actively participate in all talent management processes to develop and retain talent

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education

  • BS Degree within Business/ HR or related field required.
  • Post Graduate degree / MBA preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of related HR experience, including 5 years of ER
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience
  • Experience working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
  • Experience with remote and matrix management

  • Expertise in India Employee Relations, local laws and compliance requirements
  • Objective and trusted advisor; credible employee advocate
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization, including with HR and Business Leaders
  • Process and continuous improvement skills
  • Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills focused on coaching and collaboration
  • Cross-cultural competence; ability to work on a global team and manage remote employees
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Ability to travel, on limited basis as needed (15%)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
